Marc de Sousa Shields, Managing Partner
Marc heads ES Global of corporate social responsibility practice area. His primary responsibilities focus on corporate CSR strategy, CSR investment evaluations, and best practice CSR management training for companies in developing countries. Marc has developed several innovative measurement tools to help companies measure the return, value enhancement, and impacts of CSR investments.
Marc also writes and reports regularly on global and regional CSR market trends issues.
Marc has also worked extensively in the field of local social and economic development in the areas of small and micro enterprise development and finance in both rural and urban areas of developing countries. Marc is dedicated to helping firms of all size and their financiers, work together to maximize economic, social, and environmental outcomes of CSR and development investments.
Some of Marc’s consulting and training clients include World Bank, British Petroleum, the International Finance Corporation, BAC Credomatic, StatOil, Ford Foundation, Grupo Modelo, El Tejar, the Soros Foundation, the InterAmerican Development Bank, MoviTel, Slumberger, and several prestigious research institutions and universities.
Before co-founding ES Global, Marc co-founded and was the Executive Director of the Social Investment Organization of Canada. Marc is a native of Canada, residing in Mexico. Marc has worked in over 25 countries in English and Spanish and holds an MA from the University of Toronto in Regional Economics.
Paula Clerici, CSR Manager

Paula manages ES Global CSR practice where her primary responsibilities include knowledge generation, market analysis, and CSR best practice research. Paula also manages all ES Global CSR consultancies and runs CSR best practice strategy and management trainings. Paula also oversees ES Global’s CSR and Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) training activities.
Paula has worked extensively in Latin America since 2005 including working on projects for Global Compact Panama, the InterAmerican Development Bank, the European Commission, Panama Canal, and BAC Credomatic. Paula has written extensively on politics and sustainability issues in Latin America and holds an MA Social Research from University of Warwick (UK).A native of Argentina, Paula speaks Spanish and English and currently resides in the Argentina.
Irma Villaseñor, Manager Sustainability Reporting
Irma manages Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) knowledge for ES Global where her primary responsibilities include training large and SMEs companies, developing training materials, helping companies to create sustainability reports, and advise them in the whole reporting and communicating process.
Irma has worked for more than 15 years in the field of sustainability, CSR, and economic local development for public and private sector. She has expertise in the professionalization of organizations especially related to the exportation sector.
Some of Irma’s training clients include Gas Natural Mexico, Genomma Lab, Grupo Modelo, Banco Compartamos, Banco Galicia, Standard Bank, El Tejar, Municipalidad de la Ciudad de Salta, CANACINTRA Morelos. Irma is Mexican and currently resides in Mexico.
Tonia, Managing Partner, Director Large Projects and Local Economic Development

Tonia is responsible for the large project management and local economic development. Her primary consulting assignments focus on helping organizations/businesses develop the capacity to plan for and implement change, from project concept and design, to human resource management, to financing, monitoring and evaluation. An expert in local economic development project and stakeholder management, Tonia also has extensive experience in organizational governance and volunteer management. She manages ES Global’s large project teams where she provides strategic planning support and oversight.
Tonia has been actively involved with international development for almost twenty years in management positions with NGOs, funders, industry associations and small business. Prior to co-founding ES Global, she served as the Executive Director of an international development industry association where she was responsible for managing overall operations and relations with member organizations, funding agencies, and government. Tonia is a native of Canada, currently residing in Mexico.
Pearson Kalungulungu, Senior Manager, Small and Medium Enterprise (SME) and Microfinance Projects

Pearson brings thirteen years of work experience in SME and microfinance development to his work with ES Global. He is the Chief of Party of the MITAF program, a major financial sector integration program being managed by ES Global in Sierra Leone, that has been catalytic in developing the microfinance sector in Sierra Leone with local and international MFIs, government, and key donors. Pearson’s consulting assignments have focused on providing training and technical assistance in areas such as accounting, financial analysis, business planning, delinquency management, governance, internal controls and credit officer training.
Prior to working with ES Global, Pearson worked for Small Enterprise Promotions Limited, a subsidiary of the Development Bank of Zambia, for five years as an Operations Manager. In this role he facilitated credit applications from both microenterprises and SMEs. He also worked with the Southern African Microfinance Capacity Building Facility as a Microfinance Specialist. Pearson is a native of Zambia and currently resides in Sierra Leone.
Dennis Kiyimba, Senior Manager, Small and Medium Enterprise (SME) and Microfinance Projects

Dennis brings 13 years of enterprise and development banking experience to his work with ES Global. His consulting practice focus on small and micro financial institutional technical assistance in the areas of credit management, credit officer training, loan portfolio reviews, the establishment of cash flow based individual lending, MIS upgrading, product development, internal controls systems, drafting policy and procedure manuals and transformation studies. Dennis’s work also includes advising and implementing bank downscaling, MFI transformations, and rural finance.
Prior to working with ES Global, Dennis worked for over ten years for Centenary Rural Development Bank in various roles throughout the institution. Subsequently, he provide technical assistance for the roll-out of new microfinance products at Equity Bank in Kenya. Dennis is a native of Uganda where he currently resides.

Patricia Herrera, Manager Finance
Patricia manages ES Global Accounting operations. Paty supervises overall company and project accounting, processes and controls, and reporting.
She brings 13 years of work experience within the administration and taxation departments of various transnational companies. Paty is Mexican and is based in Mexico.

Oscar Maldonado, Manager Information Technology & Communications Unit
Oscar manages ES Global information management and communications systems. His responsibilities include the management of the company’s web pages, database, document management systems, and technical assistance.
Oscar supports IT in our head office and external programs and projects. Oscar brings ten years of experience in information systems supporting IT for numerous small firms in Mexico.
Oscar is Mexican and is based in Mexico.

Javier Colin, Manager, Administration and Logistics Unit
Javier’s manages our Administration Unit functions as the hub for the firm’s internal and external administrative relationships. This includes contracting, billing, administrative operations and troubleshooting.
Prior to working with ES Global, Javier worked in client relation for multinational firms.
Javier is Mexican and is based in Mexico.

Fernando González, Business Development
Fernando Gonzalez is responsible in the management of ES Global’s business development initiatives. This involves managing business development leads and developing information tools to help short and long term business development decision making.
Fernando previously worked for a Mexican Notary Public where he was responsible for credit and collections and served as liaison with the Mexican National Worker Housing Fund. He has a Bachelor’s degree in business administration.
Fernando is Mexican and is based in our Mexico office. He speaks Spanish, English, and French.

Sofía Papouchado, CSR Business Development
Sofía manages CSR business development initiatives for ES Global’s. This involves managing CSR business development leads and developing information tools to help short and long term business development decision making.
Sofía have worked in the areas of public relations and business administration since 2006. She is finishing her BA on Public Relations. A native of Argentina, Sofía speaks Spanish and English and currently resides in Argentina working in ES Global office in Buenos Aires.

Jeannette de Noord
Jeannette has extensive experience in large international consumer businesses. During her corporate career, Jeannette has fulfilled a variety of line management roles in marketing and sales, as well as strategic functions in different countries in Europe and Asia. She ran international sales and marketing teams in both continents, and is very familiar with taking advantage of the cultural richness available. Social responsibility has been engrained in the corporate culture of the company she has worked in.
After 20 years of corporate life, Jeannette decided to put her business experience to use in consultancy roles for small and medium size companies. Her focus is on creating market successes in a responsible manner. Fit with company and national cultures play an important role when defining the best road to take.
Jeannette is based in The Netherlands.
Carolina Moreira
Carolina is an independen
t consultant based in Montevideo, Uruguay. Her 5 years´ experience as Head of Public Affairs and Communications at Coca-Cola have provided her with extensive expertise in the areas of Corporate Social Responsibility, Public Affairs, Regulatory & Government Affairs, PR, Internal Communications and Organizational Culture. She has acted as spokesperson for Coca-Cola and held representation of the firm in several organizations: Environmental Commission of the Industry Chamber, Soft Drink Association, CEMPRE (Entrepreneurial Commitment for Recycling) / DERES (business-comprised NGO to promote CSR practices) and many others.
She now continues to work for Coca-Cola as an external consultant to further develop the Stakeholder and Regulatory Affairs area. She still represents Coca-Cola in the mentioned organizations, currently being President of CEMPRE on behalf of the firm.
Carolina has been lecturer about CSR and Communications topics before various audiences, eg: postgraduate Course, Economy School – University of the Republic, ANCAP officials (National oil company), DESEM Junior Achievement and students of Organizational Communications in the Universidad Católica of Uruguay. She currently teaches Social Marketing in the Professional Development Center of the Universidad Católica.
This, together with prior experience in media companies (Espectador group, Claxson group), advertising agency (Leo Burnett), and national firms constitutes a solid background for her as a consultant.
Carolina has recently become a Senior Associate Consultant of ES Consulting Group, to mutually collaborate in projects, share expertise and cater Uruguayan needs for CSR consulting.
Esteban Corio
Esteban Corio is a consulting professional with more than 25 years of business and managing experience in large information technology corporations such as NEC, Compaq, NCR, Samsung, Intel and HP.
He also has managed the argentine chapter of FUNDES, a regional NGO devoted to promote the sustainable development of Small and Medium Enterprises and co-founder of Equitas, an investment fund whose target is investing in start-ups with triple bottom line business plans.
His fields of specializations are Information Technology applied to business, organizational structure, business plans, direct and indirect sales networks, Corporate Social Responsibility in the value chain and agribusiness.
Esteban has studies of electronic engineering, a post graduation in food and agribusiness and assisted to several trainings in business management and Corporate Social Responsibility.
He resides in Argentina.
Anamaria Aristizabal

Anamaria is a consultant in the area of sustainability, green business, environment, and entrepreneurship. Anamaria is especially qualified for structuring projects, strategies, curriculums of adult training, and coaching people to carry out plans and bring out their full potential and materialize their vision and projects that achieve environmental, social, and economic sustainability. She has worked for various organizations such as the Andean Development Corporation, World Bank, Technoserve, the Dutch Embassy, the Colombian Science and Technology Institute, Colombian non profits such as Natura Foundation, Ventures Business Plan Competition, among others. Prior to this, she was a management consultant at McKinsey & Co, where she worked in strategies projects in Dominican Republic, Colombia, and Brazil. Prior to her MBA, she consulted for the Colombian Ministry of Environment, to uncover the national capacity building needs to implement major environmental treaties. She worked at the non profit Ashoka, supporting social entrepreneurs focused on environmental innovations, in Washington, New Delhi, Bogota, and Lima.
Anamaria has a Masters in Environmental Management and an MBA from Yale University. Holds a BA in Biology from Mount Holyoke College. She lives in Bogota, Colombia.
Rosario Murillo

Rosario is an ES Global Corporate Consultant whose works is mainly focus on developing and creating strategies in CSR for companies as well as government. She participated in the Mexican committee for the developing of ISO 26000 for CRS with IMNC institute.
Rosario has worked in Sustainable Development Area for 10 years her work includes environmental, social development and in the last years corporate “Triple Bottom Line”, GRI, Global Compact and Mexican CSR initiatives. She has worked as a consultant for companies as: ABB, Monsanto LAN, PRAXAIR, PROECI as well as government local municipalities and NGO´s. In 2008 she visited Africa for several months working as volunteer leading with children rights and NGO’s financial and operative organizational issues. Rosario writes articles for chambers of commerce/business magazines on CSR and sustainability and holds a Masters Degree in Social Responsibility from Anahuac University (MX).
