Cleaner Air Program
As an international consultancy our consultants travel (a lot!) and are responsible for a good deal of carbon emissions which affect the global environment. That is why we established our Cleaner Air Carbon Offset Program.
In addition to this basic offset cost, ES Global adds an additional 10% to the offset as a way to provide a net benefit to the environment each time a member of our team travels. This is because part of our firm’s mission is to make the world cleaner and greener.

Since 2005 we have offset hundreds of tons of carbon.
Office Environment
ES Global is committed to reducing its operational impact on the environment in our offices as well. Our initiatives are simple. They include using both sides of paper, using recycled toner, rechargeable batteries and low energy lights, among other actions. Moreover, by virtue of operating as a virtual office, we already have a much smaller resource footprint than other companies our size. Our commitment to constant improvement to virtual team management and communication not only put us at the forefront of small company sustainability, but also keeps our operating costs down and productivity up!
Train Where Train and Plane are the Same
ES Global consultants take the train when the travel time (door-to-door) is just one hour more than taking a plane. This is because trains emit far fewer greenhouse gases into the environment per passenger than do airplanes. New York to Washington and Amsterdam to Frankfurt are some of the train rides our consultants prefer.
Pro Bono
ES Global matches up to three days a staff volunteering for cultural, social, environmental, or economic development activities of their choice.
Inner Environment
For each six days a consultant works in the field, they receive US $25 for use on the spa treatment of their choice. Non-travel staff receives one treatment every three months for the same amount.
